1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed in your browser by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and tracking pixels. They allow a site to remember your preferences between pages and visits, and they can be used to measure how a site is used.
2. Your choice comes first
When you arrive on this website for the first time, a banner appears. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you make a choice. Your decision is stored locally in your browser under the key ivl_consent_v1 and is respected on subsequent visits.
You can change your mind at any time by selecting Cookie preferences in the footer of any page. Clearing your browser storage also resets the choice and the banner will appear again.

4. Third parties
This website loads a web font stylesheet from Google Fonts so that our typography renders consistently. That request necessarily reveals your IP address to the font provider; it does not set an advertising cookie. If we run search advertising campaigns, a Microsoft Advertising or equivalent measurement tag may be loaded, but only after you consent to the marketing category. No other third-party scripts are embedded on this site, and we do not host social media tracking widgets, chat bots, session recorders or heat-mapping tools.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings menu, usually under Privacy or Site Permissions. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of this and other websites from working correctly.
